Swinton Conclave. Divisional Eusebius visit

 Monday 27th February 2017

This was my first visit to Swinton Masonic Hall and I have to say, that I was very impressed with the set up. The Hall is well used by the Community, sadly, not as well used Masonically.
The Hall
The Conclave was opened my P. Kt. John Green in good form. Ill. Kt. MA Hunter delivered an interesting lecture.  ‘The Order of St. John the Evangelist.’ Which was well received.

We enjoyed Broccoli Soup. Gammon and egg, Pie and custard, followed by Cheese and biscuits, fortunately not on the same plate!  Whilst on the subject of the festive boards I attend at various Conclaves, I have to thank you all, for toasting my health. When I received the honour of being the Divisional Eusebius, I had trouble controlling my very high blood/sugars with Insulin. I received a telephone call from my Doctor last week, stating that for the first time in years, my blood/sugars are Normal. So, thanks again for toasting my health, it’s obviously working!!

As I travel around the Division, representing the Intendent General, I have to say, that I find it an absolute joy to sit with Worthy Knights from around the Division and enjoy their company, life, fun and the love of the Order of Red Cross of Constantine.
